My name is Payal Salot and I’m a graphic designer.

I was born and brought up in India. Since childhood, I have loved art - painting, sketching, crafts and design in general. I got my MBA from India and started my freelance art business ‘Quills and more’ where I delivered projects involving paper quilling and sketching.

On discovering digital graphic design, I immediately fell in love with it and was mesmerized by its potential. I packed my bags and moved to Los Angeles to study Design Communication Arts at UCLA Extension and explore the endless possibilities in the world of graphic design. I have loved every minute of my learning experience and being in the center of art – Los Angeles.

During my time at UCLA Extension, I have discovered a new found love for branding, packaging and identity design, and I also have a special place in my heart for motion graphic design. I love bringing a unique perspective to my digital art by utilizing my skills in traditional art and incorporating hand-made elements in my digital work.

I finished my coursework in Spring 2020 and I am looking for exciting opportunities in the world of Branding, Packaging or Motion Design, where I can contribute with my unique perspective and take it to the next level.

I am a die-hard vegan and enjoy working on projects that raise awareness for animal rights. When I am not working on my projects, I love to read comics, listen to podcasts and spend time with my amazing husband.
